Here’s another one from the Animal Rescue League Shelter & Wildlife Center. We’re also on Facebook and Twitter if you don’t mind plugging us since I know that QWP uses all three :-)

This is Cari, our Operations Director at the Animal Rescue League, with Fudgie. Fudgie was brought to us by a former staff member who moved to Georgia. While there, she found Fudgie as a stray and was told by her local shelters that he would be put to sleep because of a lack of cage space. Since the former staff member was coming back to PA for a visit, she brought Fudgie to our shelter. He was a favorite to Cari and was adopted by a wonderful family after only a short stay with us.

It’s T minus 12 hours until pride month, and I am running out of friends with dogs. I need your help! Submit your studs, your bois, your femmes, your switches, your generqueers, your bears, your queens, your tomboys, your otters, and those-who-wont-be-labeled with their chihuahuas, their great danes, their puggles, their mutts, their taiwanese rescue dogs, their service dogs, random dogs on the street, your dog, etc! Submit past pride QWPs and when your pride march comes around, send me those too.

This photo is from earlier today. I work at an animal shelter and today we received 10 dogs and 1 cat from HSUS. They were displaced victims of the recent tornadoes in Kentucky and were petrified upon arrival. We had to actually carry them because they were too afraid to walk. Thankfully, they are all in foster homes now and will be available for adoption soon.
